Two men wanted by police after Preston city centre attack on man in Fishergate

Two men are being sought in connection with an assault in Preston city centre.

Preston Police say a man was attacked in Fishergate in an incident that began outside WH Smith’s and left the man knocked out, received serious facial injuries and with two broken ribs.

The attack took place around 12.10am on Saturday 11 November when the man and his friend were walking away from the city centre.

The assault began outside WH Smith’s and the victim ran off but was chased down Fishergate and was then assaulted outside Primark by the two men.

Police say they believe the two men pictured are suspects in their investigation.

They are also looking to trace two women, pictured below, who are witnesses to the attack. Police said they do not suspect them of being involved.
