Royal Preston Hospital is set to increase its prices for parking.
It has put the price increase due to inflation reasons and a new national policy by the Department of Health introduced in 2022.
New prices for patient parking permits at Royal Preston Hospital will come into effect from 8am on 15 November 2023.
Patient parking charges at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have not been increased since 2018, and since then general inflation has increased by 20%.
Charges will be upped by around 9.5%.
