There will be a number of road closures in place in Preston for Remembrance Sunday parades.

Only vehicles used in connection with the Remembrance Sunday parades or emergency service vehicles will be allowed to travel along the closed roads during the processions.

Here is a list of which roads are set to be closed during the Preston city centre Remembrance Sunday Parade which will take place between 9am-1pm. The Remembrance parade and service itself will be from 10.30am-12noon but the road closures are in place before and after the service.
The diversion routes for the above closures will be via Glover’s Court, Syke Street, Avenham Lane, Queen Street, London Road, Stanley Street, Ring Way, North Road, Tithebarn Street and Old Vicarage.

These roads will be closed between 11:30am-1:15pm for the Broughton Remembrance Sunday parade:
The diversion route for the above closure will be via James Towers Way, Whittingham Lane, Garstang Road and vice versa.
