Police say they are continuing a crackdown on shoplifting in Preston city centre.
Officers visited stores in Fishergate and Friargate during Tuesday (21 November) to follow-up on reports of shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.
Preston Police also spoke to a number of people in relation to rough sleeping and begging and are now working with partner organisations to find solutions.

In addition, officers stopped and searched a 16-year-old boy who was found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis. He was given a community resolution.
Sgt Adam Sixsmith, said: “Shoplifting is not only a massive blight on businesses but also the community as a whole.
“We will continue to carry out operations like this and work with our partners to stamp out shoplifting in Preston City Centre and hold offenders to account.”
