New jewellers opens in former George Banks in Preston city centre

A new jewellers is open in what was George Banks in Preston city centre.
G and M Goldsmiths is run by Gary and Michelle Shaw from Cottam.
Gary was formerly the partner at DJM Goldsmiths in Fox Street, where he worked for 40 years. Michelle also spent over a decade employed there before the shop closed two years ago.
Michelle told Blog Preston: “Everybody knows Gary around the Preston area and I’m sure they will be glad we are back.
“Our services include repairs, valuations, engravings, wedding rings and bespoke handmade jewellery. We have a full selection of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires and everything else.
“As well as selling a selection of pre-owned jewellery, we also buy pre-owned jewellery and scrap gold in any condition.”
G and M Goldsmiths is located at 31 Lune Street.
