The Claughton-on-Brock trade park plans are set to include a McDonald’s and a Starbucks, it has been revealed.
The employment park, which is adjacent to the A6, has planning permission already been granted for mixed use development which will comprise of a café/restaurant, storage and distribution and light industry, along with dedicated access of the A6 Preston/Lancaster New Road.
A Starbucks drive-thru is on the list of businesses that have confirmed their interest in the development.

The drive-thru will create more than 20 jobs for local people and a stop off point for passing trade.
A McDonald’s franchise would provide a new restaurant for the residents of Garstang as well as providing more than 120 jobs.
There are also proposals for a new Screwfix-type Trade Counter which would provide trade counter sales to local businesses. This will also create new jobs.
The development is being run by J. Robinson Building Contractors.
