Emergency services are tackling a major fire at an industrial unit in Longridge.
Firefighters were called to to what’s understood to be the Butlers Cheese premises in Shay Lane.
Flames can be seen from Grimsargh and the surrounding area as the fire started shortly after 9.30pm on Monday (6 November).

Shay Lane is currently closed to traffic while fire crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service work to contain the flames and stop the fire from spreading to other industrial units within the industrial estate.
A Longridge resident who lives near to the fire in Langdale Road told Blog Preston: “We heard lots of banging like fireworks and went outside as it sounded really close, and the fire is huge.”
Nearby residents are being asked to keep their windows and doors shut if they can smell or see smoke.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “We have 10 fire engines at a commercial property on Shay Lane, Longridge.
“Firefighters were called just before 10pm this evening and local residents are encouraged to keep windows and doors shut if they can smell or see smoke.”
