Customers have been left in the dark after an Ashton-on-Ribble interiors store closed with no warning.
AdvertisementLuxe Interiors and Shutters opened in Woodplumpton Road during the Covid pandemic after a business rebrand and relocation from Sovereign Blinds in Chorley and Leyland.
But in September customers started to realise something was amiss when the shop failed to open, calls went unanswered, and the website and socials were taken down.
According to Companies House, a resolution was passed to wind up the company on 20 September, with a liquidator appointed ten days later.

One customer Blog Preston spoke to was left claiming back money after they didn’t receive an order.
They said: “I had placed an order for curtains and paid a deposit of £750. I’ve had zero contact from anyone but thankfully I had paid by credit card so claimed a refund.
“I was just annoyed there was not even a note on the building to inform customers. My emails bounced back and the Facebook page was deleted.
“I’m lucky and got the money back but I’m sure they’ll be others that don’t.”
Another customer told Blog Preston they had been trying to get in touch with Luxe “for weeks” but had “given up”.
They said: “We have lost the after sales support to fix an issue with our blind. It’s a shame because we were quite happy with them up until they closed the business.”
Other customers posted to social media with similar stories, with one saying: “They were supposed to be coming to refit a blind we’ve got a problem with. Guess you never know what’s going on behind the scenes.”
Another said: “Won’t be getting my free shutter they promised next time I ordered with them now I guess.”
Blog Preston contacted Luxe Interiors and Shutters for comment but did not receive a response.
