Two doggy Christmas parties are set to be hosted in Preston.

The festive events are for specific dog breeds to come together and celebrate the Christmas season.

Dachshund and Cockapoo owners have been invited to gather at Barton Equestrian Centre for the event which will see lovers of the breeds come together.

Both events are being held on Saturday 18 November at the venue, with all Dachshunds, Cockapoos and Doodle mix dogs invited.

Families are invited to attend the dog party which will include 60 minutes of off lead play time in an indoor arena as well as “Santa Paws” being there.

Unlimited puppuccinos and treats for the dogs will be available at the family friendly day.

You only need to purchase a ticket for your pooch and people are free to attend.

Plenty of photo opportunities and games will be there for you and your four-legged friend as well as local businesses selling treats and accessories.

Aggressive dogs are banned from the event as well as dogs that are in season.
