Two people are in police custody following a burglary at Il Gusto d’Italia in Preston.

Money and bottles of alcohol were stolen during the crime and police were called to Watery Lane, Ashton-on-Ribble, at around 1.40am Tuesday (28 November) morning.

It has been reported that around 10 bottles of alcohol and cash from the till were taken.

A 34-year-old man and 35-year-old woman are now being questioned on suspicion of burglary.
