The wrong road sign has been in place on Strand Road for years, it has been reported.

The incorrectly named part of Strand Road, which lies between Watery Lane and the Marsh Road flyover, should have been named West Strand.

It’s not known how long the wrong sign has been in place in Ashton-on-Ribble.
