Wilko in Preston city centre closes

Wilko has closed its doors in Preston city centre after the firm fell into administration.
The Friargate store had its final day of trading on Tuesday (3 October).
The shutters came down for a last time on the large unit in the city which had been running a closing down sale.

Wilko at Deepdale Shopping Park is open until Thursday (5 October).
A number of Wilko stores were sold off to Poundland and The Range – it is not known if either of the Preston stores will be retained by these two brands.
