South Ribble Police are appealing for witnesses of a car crash after two people were left with serious injuries.Advertisement
Police were called at just after 6.20pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 when a Ford Fiesta driving along Leyland Lane towards Croston collided with an MG ZS travelling in the opposite direction about to turn into the Tesco Express store.
The driver of the Fiesta, a man in his 20s from Leyland, and the driver of the MG, a woman in her 70s from Leyland, suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.

A passenger in the Fiesta, also a man in his 20s from Leyland, suffered less serious injuries.
Sgt Stuart Hart, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “This collision has left two people with serious injuries, and I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision itself, or who has any CCTV, dashcam or mobile footage, to get in touch.”
