The Pickled Goose on Garstang Road in Barton is set to reopen this weekend.
The pub will once again open its doors after closing in 2022 due to the increase in energy costs.
There is due to be an all-new menu including tapas-style dishes as it serves again from Saturday (October 28).

Going forward, owners are hoping to expand the menu and open increase opening hours from five days to seven days a week.
For the first week only, customers can get 30% off all food and are able to book a table online.
Speaking about the upcoming opening, General Manager Jamie Hall said: “We are really excited to get open and give the goose a new lease of life. It’s a fantastic site and deserves to be part of the community again.
“We hope to become both a destination venue and a local pub restaurant for friends and family to socialise.
“Food wise we are keeping the fresh, locally sourced produce at the heart of the menu but with a more relaxed tapas style service in that the dishes will be served as and when they are ready rather a traditional fixed order. We hope this will promote a more social dining experience and encourage those with a lighter appetite to dine more often.”

He added: “Going forward we plan to expand the menu and opening times from 5 days to 7. Next year we hope to extend our outside space with an outside bar and kitchen.”
When they closed in 2022, the restaurant released a statement saying: “It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing that the Pickled Goose has had to close its doors for the foreseeable future.
“The past couple of years has been tough on so many businesses like ours and in the last few months we have seen a huge increase in our energy costs, which unfortunately leave us with no alternative but to close.
“We hope that the current situation settles and allows us to reopen before too long. We would like to thank our wonderful customers for their support and hope to see you all again soon.”
