More than £10,000 has been raised for the city’s cancer centre by one of Preston’s most established restaurants.
The Italian Orchard at Broughton marked their 38th year in business with a lavish ball over the summer.
More than 200 people attended the banquet which also included a steel band, dance show and DJ sets – along with a raffle and silent auction.

Ivan Bragagnini, wife Louise Bragagnini and Carlo Bragagnini – who run the Italian Orchard as well as other restaurants across the city – handed a cheque for £12,500 to Rosemere Cancer Centre.
Ivan and Carlo have both survived cancer following treatment at Rosemere.
Ivan said: “The ball, which was a great evening, was to celebrate the restaurant’s 38 th anniversary and to give back to cancer centre staff for the care and treatment myself and Carlo received and which is also given to many others locally.”
