Eldon Primary School and Myercough College and University Centre have been shortlisted in the Educate Awards.
The awards shine a spotlight on the education sector, showcasing the work of schools and colleges that deliver an outstanding education and supporting young people.
There are 20 categories in total and the shortlist recognises teachers, support staff and leadership teams.

Myercough College and University has been shortlisted for Most Inspirational Sixth Form & College, while Eldon Primary School, in Plungington, has been shortlisted for Most Inspirational Primary School category.
Kim O’Brien, founder of the Educate Awards, said: “A massive congratulations to the Lancashire schools and colleges that have made this year’s shortlist.
“This year we received a record number of entries which made the judges’ job tougher than ever before. It is no mean feat making it this far and so every school and college on the shortlist should be extremely proud.”

The awards ceremony will take place at the Liverpool Cathedral on Friday, 17 November, 2023.
