Biker in hospital after Flensburg Way crash in Leyland

Flensburg Way in Leyland has now reopened following a motorbike crash.


Police were called out at 8.06am on Thursday (19 October) to a report of a road traffic collision in Flensburg Way, near to the tank roundabout between Leyland and Penwortham.

Officers attended and found that a motorbike had been in collision with a lamp post.

The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, suffered serious leg injuries and has been taken to hospital.


The road was closed for a time but has now reopened.
