A Preston entrepreneur has launched an AI-enhanced legal tool after being involved in a case of alleged unfair dismissal.
Adrian Bude came up with the idea for LawMate.AI after his wife encountered issues in her job during pregnancy.
Adrian, who hails from Cluj in Romania, said: “Like many entrepreneurs, I channelled my passion for innovation and developed a solution to overcome a stressful personal experience.
“The journey began when I decided to represent my wife in court. I recognised a substantial gap in access to comprehensive yet understandable legal information during this process.
“This experience gave birth to the idea of LawMate.AI.”
LawMate.AI is designed to use artificial intelligence technology to enhance accessibility and efficiency in legal matters.
In a meticulous process, Adrian tailored ChatGPT to respond effectively to complex legal questions.
Adrian said: “While ChatGPT has an immense capacity to respond to a wide array of inquiries, it must be configured to provide specific legal guidance. That’s where my tool comes in.
“LawMate.AI uses a carefully crafted prompt system that morphs ChatGPT into an accessible, pocket-sized lawyer. This means it provides tailored legal guidance, avoiding legal jargon, which ChatGPT doesn’t do by default.”
Adrian’s commitment to innovation extends beyond business to the music scene, where he is better known as DJ Adytza.
His latest single, One More Time, recently placed in the EDM Top 20 UK, and was ranked second in the North West.

Adrian said: “My connection with my wife serves as a constant source of inspiration. Her strength and resilience, as well as the challenges we faced together, have deeply influenced my work, both as an artist and as an advocate for positive change.
“With LawMate.AI, we’re just getting started. Our vision for the future includes enabling interactive conversations, and we have plans to collaborate with legal experts.
“We’re aiming to revolutionise legal information delivery, making it more accessible, understandable, and affordable.
“Whether it is through my music or my work with LawMate.AI, I’m committed to making a difference and affecting people positively.”
