A pensioner has died after a crash on a rural road in South Ribble.
Police were called to The Marshes Lane between Mere Brow and Rufford.
A Skoda Kodiaq had left the road and collided with a fence, say South Ribble Police.
The driver, a man in his 70s, died a short time later in hospital.

The crash took place shortly after 5.45pm on Tuesday (26 September) and police closed the road until midnight for collision investigation work.
Sergeant Laura Kendall, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “First and foremost our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died. This is a truly heartbreaking incident and we send them our deepest condolences.
“We would now like to hear from anybody who saw what happened, or saw the vehicle in the moments before the collision. Similarly, if you have any dashcam that could be useful, please share it with us.”
