A show described as ‘a rapturous collision of live looping and poetry’ is coming to Preston.

Pete ‘the Temp’ Bearder returns to The Ferret with a new show, which samples human beatbox, vocals, guitar, and audience members live into a loop station.

Pete is the former UK Poetry Slam Champion. His work has been featured on BBC radio and television and he has performed around the world with the British Council.

Enjoy the Show’s Garry Cook said: “This is a funny and high-energy show to get you singing, dancing, and even climbing on stage.

“Expect a rapturous journey of song and absurdity that is both cosmic and comic.”

Pete will also host an open mic, with slots available on a first come, first serve basis.

Pete the Temp: Live Looping, Comedy, Spoken Word + OPEN MIC takes place on Tuesday (26 September). Tickets start from £8.80 and are available from Skiddle.
