Preston city centre saw the Encounter Festival return for three days of arts and events across the city.
Taking in the Bus Station, outside the Guild Hall, the Mobile Event Tent at UCLan’s Adelphi Square, the Flag Market, Winckley Square and processions through the city the festival was the largest yet.
Fireworks finished the Saturday evening following the torchlight procession which began in Moor Park.

Saturday saw the community and traditions stage enjoy a melting point of cultural performances outside the Guild Hall in Lancaster Road.
And Sunday’s entertainment was focused on Winckley Square with family-friendly performances as well as Flood bringing their unique live action threatre all the way down Fishergate to confused shoppers.
