Hoghton Tower has confirmed details of some spooky events during Halloween and into the Autumn.
From witchcraft and wizard schools to ghost tours there’s plenty happening at the 16th century house.
Running during half-term the School of Wizardry and Witchcraft will see magical professors teaching little monsters how to cast spells, brew exploding potions and practice broomstick racing.

Suitable for children aged 6-10 the sessions are running Wednesday 25 October to Sunday 29 October. Sessions will be available to book on the Hoghton Tower website in the coming weeks.

Also starting from half-term onwards are Autumn ghost tours.
Hoghton Tower is reputedly the third most haunted house in Britain.
From the black dog in the Well House to Angry Peter there’s the chance to explore and hear the stories before having a two-course meal.
Running on selected dates from Friday 27 October to Saturday 18 November and available to book on the Hoghton Tower website.
