Preston trio cycling 1,800 miles on American plains for children’s hospice

Three Prestonians are currently pedalling their way across the Canadian and American plains for charity.

Frank Towers, Mick Howarth and Phil Alcock are taking on a 1,800 mile ride.

From Nebraska to Canada their ride is to help Derian House’s Children Hospice and began on Monday 31 July.

The trio are aiming to raise £2,500 from their ride on the other side of the Atlantic.
