Preston motorway junction reopens as loose horse caught

Edith Rigby Way was closed earlier due to a loose horse.
The closure was put in place today (Friday 25 August) at the M55 junction.
The horse has since been caught and the closure removed.
A spokesperson for Blackpool Police said: “We can now confirm the horse has been secured into a trailer and the road and motorway junction have re-opened. Thank you for your patience.”
