The world’s first photography parade took place in Preston last week.
AdvertisementThe event – which happened on Saturday 19 August, World Photography Day – was part of Lancashire Photography Festival.
Around 30 people marched through the city’s streets and parks carrying their images on large protest boards.
Some of the images had been taken as part of the Preston Is My Paris and 48 Hours in Preston festival events.

The parade, which was organised by Garry Cook, passed by many of the locations exhibiting images for the festival.
The aim was to get eyes on the arts and encourage people to join Preston’s creative community.
