Here’s every venue taking part in Preston Pub Festival

The full venue list for Preston Pub Festival has been announced.

Eleven pubs will be part of the festival, billed as ‘a celebration of craft beer, real ale and Preston’s extraordinary pub culture’.

The festival will take place from Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October.

Events will include food vendors, live music, special pop-up bars, tap takeovers and more.

Here’s a rundown of the venues:

The Black Horse

One of the city’s most unique pubs, the Grade II Listed Black Horse has a wealth of character and history, and offers at least eight Robinsons cask beers.

The Guild Ale House

Preston’s original craft pub, at The Guild Ale House you’ll find cask, craft and continental beers sourced by Gary, the knowledgeable and friendly landlord.

Winckley Street Ale House

Located on the picturesque cobbles, this pub combines modern and traditional, stocking an array of cask and craft beers as well as wine, spirits, and softs.

Plug and Taps

Independently owned and operated, Plug and Taps specialises in craft and world beer with 10 keg and four cask lines, plus a can and bottle fridge.

Chain House Taproom

The city’s only taproom, Chain House provides 12 keg lines and two cask lines, pouring a variety of guest and Chain House beers.

The Old Vic

Situated just across the railway station, The Old Vic is a unique traditional pub serving a good stock of real ales as well as lagers and ciders.

NIKO

A place where the world’s best craft beer meets the world’s best wine, NIKO’s owner and sommelier delivers an exclusive drinks selection with great service.

Plau

An historic premises that dates back to the 1600s, Plau features an excellent drinks selection, vintage interiors, and an underground bar.

The Moorbrook

Home of quality beer and quirky wood-fired pizzas, The Moorbrook has a unique bar, large beer garden, PNE memorabilia, and a friendly atmosphere.

The Continental

A Preston institution, The Conti serves beautifully presented food alongside high-quality drinks that can be enjoyed in the amazing beer garden.

The Orchard

Located in a cosy corner of Preston Market, The Orchard is a craft beer bar with 10 keg lines, three cask beers and an excellent selection of ciders, wines and spirits.
