Classic children’s story the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is being brought to the stage in Lostock Hall.
St James’ Players bring their adaptation of the C.S.Lewis novel to the church hall at St James’ in Avondale Drive for three nights.
The group have three decades worth of producing shows for the Lostock Hall community.

Producer and director Adam Smith said: “I am really looking enjoying producing this show. The story itself is both engaging and magical, but also with some dark undertones.
“Our cast are excited to be playing some of the most iconic, brilliant characters from C.S Lewis’ novel and we can’t wait for audiences to see these characters brought to life on stage.
“It’s a show for all age groups and it’s fantastic to be able to bring the magic of theatre to Lostock Hall.”

The show is on from Thursday (8 June) to Saturday (10 June) with four performances available – three at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
Tickets are £8 each and for opening night on Thursday there’s 50 per cent off children’s tickets – all tickets available from TicketSource.
