A busy Preston route linking Penwortham to the Docks is due to be shut overnight for three weeks.

Strand Road and a section of Fishergate Hill are being closed as work on the CYLOPS junction at Broadgate continues.

The first diversion route is operational from Monday (5 June) through to Tuesday 13 June from 7pm to 6am – weekdays only – and sees a diversion down Hartington Road, to South Meadow Lane, Connaught Road and Wolseley Road to avoid the closures in Fishergate Hill.
