A monastery in Fulwood has been put up for sale.
The five-acre Carmelite Monastery in St Vincent’s Road is on the market for £2million.
One of only 11 monasteries in England run by the Carmelite nuns – a religious order within the Roman Catholic Church – the Fulwood building is currently listed as vacant.

The site includes a two and part three-storey monastery with chapel, choir rooms and refractory, as well as residential accommodation with 20 bedrooms.
There are extensive and enclosed grounds with a small pond and allotment.
A lodge house sits at the entrance to the site and includes two large bedrooms.
