A crash near the Broughton roundabout is causing major congestion in and around Fulwood and Broughton.

Preston Police have officers on the scene of a crash on the A6 (Garstang Road).

The crash took place just after 5pm on Wednesday (14 June).

Congestion is backing up to the Black Bull pub at the crossroads with Black Bull Lane, Fulwood.

Police said around 6.10pm that both lanes are now open going soutbound into Preston but one lane remains closed on the A6 in the northbound direction approaching the roundabout.

Motorists are being asked to amend their routes accordingly.
