Illegal cigarettes seized after Preston ice cream van stop and search

Illegal cigarettes have been found on board an ice cream van in Preston.

The illicit products were seized after police stopped and searched the van earlier this week.

The matter has since been referred to Trading Standards.

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: “This ice cream van was stopped and searched and found to have more than ice cream on board.

“A quantity of illegal cigarettes were seized and Trading Standards have been contacted.”
