Police are asking for help to identify a teenager in connection with a public order offence in Leyland.

The incident happened on Tuesday 10 January in Golden Hill Lane, near to The Queens pub.

A Stagecoach bus had stopped to allow a passenger to get off at approximately 6.30pm and while it was stopped, a group of young men walked past.

One of the group pointed a weapon – described as metallic and possibly a BB gun – at the bus driver and shouted ‘bang’. He then walked off in the direction of The Railway pub.

He was wearing dark clothing, possibly a blue/grey tracksuit top and bottoms.

Anyone who recognises the suspect from the CCTV image should contact 101 or email 4239@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 1138 of January 10, 2023.
