A Prestonian has been promoted to director at a development and construction consultancy just ten years after starting there as a graduate.
Simon Lomiiko’s promotion at Identity Consult is said to be testament to his pioneering work supporting clients to deliver new affordable, specialist and sustainable homes and education buildings.
34-year-old Simon has been instrumental in the growth of Identity Consult in the North West, doubling the turnover of this area of the business in the past three years.
Within his new role as director, Simon will lead the expansion of the Identity Consult Fulwood office to accommodate future growth.
Speaking of his appointment, Simon said: “Along with my colleagues, I am committed to delivering much-needed North West housing developments – combatting adverse market challenges and proactively moving sites forward – especially affordable, eco, and additional needs homes.”

Identity Consult director Alex Atkinson added: “Not only has Simon demonstrated an admirable, unwavering commitment to Identity Consult – he joined the business in 2013 as a graduate – but in just 10 years he’s earned his directorship.
“He is a true mentor for future talent, particularly spending time helping others move into the sector through sharing his expertise. Yet it is his approach to pioneering sustainable housing and as an advocate for collaboration, simplifying procurement and making schemes more deliverable, which makes him stand out within the sector. On behalf of all of his colleagues, we congratulate Simon on his achievement.”
