Preston’s Light Foundation is inviting people to its sixth annual interfaith Ramadan dinner.
The free dinner arranged for the city’s non-Muslim community is said to be an evening of delicious food and friendship.
The event will take place at St Cuthbert’s Church in Lytham Road, Fulwood, on Tuesday 11 April, from 7.30pm to 8.45pm.

A spokesperson for the Light Foundation said Shaykh Bilal Brown, will deliver a speech on the day:
“On the theme of ‘The Importance of Community: Turning Strangers into Friends’, our guest speaker will share a few reflections on the Spiritual and Societal benefits of Ramadan, and how fasting ensures the unity and harmony of a society, thus leaving positive changes in communities.
“If you are from the Muslim community wishing to attend, then we would encourage inviting and attending alongside a non-Muslim friend, family member, or colleague.”
