A Prestonian has been shortlisted in theĀ Northern Power Women Awards 2023.
Tracey Threlfall, UK head of advisory at global professional services firm Aon plc, has been recognised for challenging the status quo and using her influence to make a positive change for all.
The awards, now in their seventh year, celebrate both individuals and businesses who are pushing boundaries and spearheading gender equality and social mobility across the north of England.

Tracey has 32 yearsā experience in the insurance industry and works across Aonās northern offices including Manchester.
For the past 27 years of her career, Tracey has built and led successful teams and now leads a team of 250 people.
Tracey said: āIt’s a real privilege to have been nominated for and included on the Power List.
“After almost 33 years in the insurance industry and the majority of that spent leading teams, it is great to have a new platform to help highlight and drive diversity in our business by sharing experiences and hopefully inspiring a new generation of female leaders.ā

There were 1,500 nominations in total for the awards, which have been whittled down to 89 following a rigorous judging process.
The Northern Power Awards take place on Monday 20 March at Manchester Central.
