The comedian and actor – real name Sonja Doubleday – has been likened to The Mighty Boosh and comedy great Spike Milligan.

Her show It Is What It Isn’t came to Preston in 2022 as part of Lancashire Fringe Festival, playing a sell-out gig at The Continental’s Boatyard space.
Promoter Garry Cook said: “Cheekykita was many people’s highlight of Lancashire Fringe Festival so to have her back is a huge honour for me.
“This is a one-off gig in the north for Cheekykita who has agreed to come back to Preston because she had such a great experience here last year.
“It feels amazing that such an accomplished performer – a total expert in her field of physical and clowning comedy – is coming to The Ferret, giving Preston audiences a unique opportunity to see a stunning show.
“This will be an unforgettable night and chance to see and exceptional performer on stage. I can’t wait for the big night and would say to the people of Preston: come and see something unforgettable!”
