A tea party is set to raise funds for Plungington Community Centre.

Caritas Care are organising the event, which will take place on Saturday 18 March at the Centre in Brook Street.

A spokesperson for Caritas Care said: “It’s going to be a great afternoon of cake and entertainment.

“The aim is to bring people together to have fun and raise money to support the work delivered by the community centre.”

The drop-in event is on from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. ​

Lancashire Tea and Rowlands and Hames are sponsoring the tea party.

There is no admission fee, but donations are gratefully received.
