Two teens arrested after series of shed and garage break-ins in Ashton-on-Ribble

Two Preston teenagers have been arrested after a number of shed and garage break-ins in Ashton-on-Ribble.

Bikes and tools were stolen in the incidents, which happened over the weekend.

An 18-year-old man is under arrest on suspicion of handling stolen goods, and a 14-year-old boy is being questioned on suspicion of burglary.

Preston Police made the arrests after receiving information from the public.

Nine high-value bikes have been recovered, and six have been returned to their owners.
