Scooter store break-in on Tulketh Brow triggers police appeal

Preston Police are asking for help with an investigation of burglary in Ashton-on-Ribble and are appealing for any information.

On Thursday 29 December, within the early hours of the morning, a group of unknown offenders gained access through the rear door leading into Serious Scootering located on Tulketh Brow.

The offenders had then left the premises and taken several motorcycles, motor scooters, engine parts and vintage helmets.

They have been witnessed on CCTV footage leaving Ecroyd Road with the stolen vehicles.

Four vehicles are reported as outstanding

A motor scooter and motorcycle were located on Haslam Park, Blackpool Road however, there are still some outstanding.

It is believed there are three males and one female involved.

Vehicles currently outstanding have been reported as:

  • BSA BANTOM 17 5 G PLATE BLACK AND CHROME TANK
  • MALAGUTTI CAVALCONE CROSS RED AND WHITE
  • ITALJET FORMULA 125 SILVER
  • BLUE MOUNTAIN BIKE
