This Friday Wolfgang Flür will be making his eagerly anticipated appearance performing at Preston music venue The Ferret.
Wolfgang Flür is an ex-member of legendary German electronic group Kraftwerk and played with the outfit between 1973 to 1987.
The gig comes after multiple rescheduled dates dating all the way back to early December 2021.
An additional date of Saturday 14 January has also been added, following this Friday (13 January) performance.
At both shows there is a prize competition to win a signed copy of Wolfgang’s newest album ‘Magazine 1’.
The show is a part of the Musik Soldat Magazine tour where the electronic legend himself will be playing music from his present projects as well as Kraftwerk classics from the past all with a strong anti-war message.

Support at the gig comes from Peter Duggal who is the musical partner of Wolfgang Flür as well as Preston based DJ’s Leyland Traxx and Nodding Dog amongst many other performers over the two dates.
The gig is the first of 2023 for The Ferret, a venue that is in the midst of possible closure due to being put on the market by their landlord.
There is a Crowdfunder to raise money to enable The Ferret’s doors to stay open so more gigs like this very one can continue to be held in Preston city centre.
Doors open at 7PM for the gig and is set to be a night to remember.
