Preston city centre restaurant Mr Lam will close on New Year’s Day.
Mr Lam Chiu Kwan Takeaway in Blackpool Road will remain open.
The news was announced on Facebook.
The post said: “Mr Lam, Lily and team would like to thank you all for the custom and support throughout the last three years.
“It’s been great meeting you all. We would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and a fantastic 2023.
“Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

People reacted to the news with sadness.
One said: “Awww so sorry to hear this! Only the best Chinese restaurant in Preston.”
Another added: “Such sad news, loved the place, the food and the staff. Thank you for some great nights.”
