A Preston band will be performing a Christmas concert to raise money for charity.
The Preston Concert Band are joining with the Guardian Concert Band from Lytham to perform on Saturday 10 December
The venue is St Michaels and All Angels with St Marks in Egerton Road, Ashton-on-Ribble.
The evening will offer a range of popular music and seasonal favourites, and is suitable for everyone.

Anne Kingston, whose husband is Chair of the Preston Concert Band and plays saxophone, said: “The concert is a lovely, non-commercial way to start your Christmas break.
“It’s a nice warm church, and the combined bands produce a rich sound full of Christmas cheer – and we could all do with some of that!”
The concert will start at 7.30pm. Refreshments and mince pies will be served during the interval.
The entry fee is £5 on the door, with proceeds going to charity.
