Police appeal after Leyland Boxing Day crash leaves two injured

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Leyland on Boxing Day.

Officers were called to Flensburg Way at 9.55pm to reports of a collision involving a black BMW X1 and a white Ford Transit.

The driver of the Transit – a man in his 30s – suffered serious leg and pelvic injuries.

The driver of the BMW – a woman in her 40s – suffered minor injuries.

Nobody has been arrested at this time.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Our work is ongoing to establish exactly how the collision occurred.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision and hasn’t yet spoken to police or, anybody with information regarding the incident.”
