Ice set to cause disruption in parts of Preston

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for ice.

The warning, which covers the western parts of Preston, starts from 4pm today (Thursday 8 December) and ends at 12pm tomorrow (Friday 9 December).

Temperatures are set to fall to -3 overnight on Thursday.

The Met Office says some disruption is likely due to icy surfaces.

There could be icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, and injuries from slips and falls.
