Lancashire Police are asking for your help to identify a man who is wanted in connection with two offences against women in Preston.
On the afternoon of Tuesday 1 November, a man approached a young woman in Avenham Park, Preston, and made lewd remarks and grabbed hold of her jacket.
He tried to stub out a cigarette on her face but didn’t make contact. When a member of the public approached, the man walked off.

The suspect is described as between 35 and 40 years of age, 5ft 8, of slim build, with black deadlocks with blue and white beads in them. He was wearing a thin black puffer jacket and blue jeans.
The suspect is also being linked to an incident in Preston city centre on Thursday 27 October, where a woman was thrown to the floor.
Anyone who recognises the suspect or has information about either incident, is asked to contact 101 – quoting log 1324 of November 1, 2022.
