Preston Bus will be changing some of its services to improve overall service reliability and to operate punctually, by extending journey times at busy times of the day.
The bus operator has added more buses to the timetables at busy times of day on the 19 and 23.
From Monday 31 October, services 8, 9, 23 and 88 will be affected.
The bus service to Corpus Christi Sports College via 960 Miller Road will not operate after the half term break.

A spokesperson for Preston Bus said: “Pupils travelling to Corpus Christi should make use of the other available school buses (959, 961, 962, 963) as well as service 19 which operates at high frequency along Sharoe Green Lane, a short walk from the school.
“Pupils who have a Lancashire County Council scholars pass for service 960 should receive a re-issued pass from the County Council via post.
“In the event that this does not arrive before 31st October, the pass will be accepted on any other Preston Bus service to and from school.”
