Man arrested after hunting knife threat in Fishwick

A man has been arrested after threatening a member of the public with a large hunting knife in Fishwick.

The incident happened in Nevett Street on Friday (7 October).

The suspect produced the knife after being challenged about why he was taking photographs of a house in the street off New Hall Lane.

The 34-year-old man was taken into custody on Tuesday (11 October) after Preston Police attended an address in the Ripon Street area of Plungington.

After a short chase, officers arrested a man on suspicion of possession of a knife/bladed article.
