Poppies have popped up in Ingol and Tanterton to mark Armistice Day.

The large poppies have been attached to lampposts along Tag Lane and Tanterton Hall Road, the main bus route through the community.

The poppies will be on display until Tuesday 15 November.

Ahead of Remembrance Sunday, Ingol and Tanterton Parish Council (ITNC) have donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Bruce Ellison, Chair of ITNC said “During this time of remembrance, we are encouraging residents to take a moment of quiet reflection as they pass the poppies, as we unite across faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.”
