The annual Lancashire Federation of Women’s Institute’s county show is returning to Garstang after a three year break.
Hundreds of exhibits will be on display at the rainbow-themed Craft and Produce Show at Best Western Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club.
Attendees will enter the foyer under an archway of over 700 handmade, rainbow coloured pom poms, made by members of Whitechapel and Inglewhite Women’s Institute.
Five rooms in the hotel will contain exhibits from a range of ages, starting from just three-years-old. They will include art, honey, handcrafted items, cookery, sugar craft, creative writing, floral art and horticulture.
Each year the public is asked to vote in one category, the Betty Sanderson Memorial Trophy. For 2022, attendees will be asked to vote for their favourite witch in the Gathering of Witches display. The winner will be announced at the end of the show.

A spokesperson for Women’s Institute said: “This craft and produce show is probably one of the best in the country with exquisitely beautiful exhibits, some of which you may not have seen before.
“It is a day full of wonder and surprise for all ages and, after you have walked round once, take an opportunity to have a rest in the restaurant for a meal or a snack. Another walk through the rooms is recommended as it is guaranteed you will have missed something!”
The LFWI Craft and Produce Show will take place at Best Western Garstang on Wednesday 21 September from 10am to 9pm, and Thursday 22 September from 10am to 5.30pm. Entry is £5.
