Preston City Council and South Ribble Borough Council have announced their bin collection services for Monday 19th September.
Due to the bank holiday for Her Late Majesty’s funeral, changes to the collections of bins which would take place on Monday have been made.
Both councils have moved their collection days and there will be no collections on Monday.

Preston City Council states on their website:
Domestic black bins for general waste and brown bins subscribed for compost that were scheduled for collection on Monday 19 September, will be brought forward to Saturday 17 September. Please ensure you put your bin out the night before.
There will be no recycling collections taking place on Monday 19 September. Extra recycling will be taken on the next scheduled collection day Monday 3 October 2022.

South Ribble Borough Council said:
There will be no bin collections on Monday 19 September 2022.
Scheduled bin collections will operate a day later than usual all week, for example if your bin is due to be collected on Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday instead.
Those bins that were scheduled to be collected on Friday 23 September will be collected on Saturday 24 September.
Bin scheduled for:
Monday 19 September will be collected on Tuesday 20 September
Tuesday 20 September will be collected on Wednesday 21 September
Wednesday 21 September will be collected on Thursday 22 September
Thursday 22 September will be collected on Friday 23 September
Friday 23 September will be collected on Saturday 24 September
